I was commissioned to lead the story aspect for a creation of a short film and set of creative activities, for a nation-wide engagement program designed to help students to produce their own works of music-theatre.  I provided the creative vision, story, and structure in order to continue to deliver theatrical & orchestral work in an experimental format through collaboration with film-maker and animators. 

The resulting piece ’Finish This’ used film and animation to tell the story of a young composer who learns to see his mistakes as a source of creative inspiration, rather than failure, featuring Mikhail Sen (A Suitable Boy, Netflix). 

Accompanied by a package of bespoke resources and teacher CPD training, which empowers teachers to lead and deliver new approaches to music making.
