Created and delivered Unsung Heroes of The Planet, partnering with The Eden Project’s leading scientists to create an immersive folk opera exploring the science behind tree communication. Taking place across the Eden Campus, this interactive story adventure immersed the audience deep beneath the soil to celebrate the myriad ways we are all connected. Told through an eclectic score inspired by contemporary choral music and Psychadelic folk music, this project created a playful, quirky and enlightening celebration launch to Eden’s new ‘Invisible worlds’ gallery.  

Challenges for this project included representing complex topics within natural science in an engaging, accessible format for attraction visitors, and finding a way to provoke truthful yet inspiring discussion about the relationship between humans and the natural world. 

Piloted in collaboration with Cardiff University and the British Ecology Society. Programmed for the launch of the 'Invisible Worlds' gallery at The Eden Project in 2018, as part of Julie’s Bicycle’s Season For Change.
