LIQUID HISTORY

CREATIVE DIRECTOR | WRITER | STAGE DIRECTOR

I concepted and created Liquid History — a theatrical piece for families using storytelling song and physical theatre. This piece brought The Museum of London Docklands to life, revealing the history of London through five objects found on the Thames Shore.

Challenges for this project included revealing the complexities of a fraught political history to a family audience, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders with different objectives.

Delivered in partnership with the Museum of London Docklands, produced by Gestalt Arts with Totally Thames Festival. Created with input from mudlark Nick Stevens.

Funded by Arts Council England and PRS for Music. Film available on request.
